Na Craga and Recycled Yarn

Here's the almost finished Na Craga (Alice Starmore pattern from Aran knitting) I used Berroco ultra alpaca in saddle brown, knit in the smallest size for Ben. I am adding two inches to sleeve length on fluffbuff's advice. Next picture is a sweater I just bought at Saver's, label has a picture of a llama and "artesanias tamia" made in Ecuador. Size gigantic (note giant kitty in frame for reference.) I'm planning on recycling the very bulky wool and knitting up a smaller sweater. The wool seems to be a natural color, I'm thinking about dyeing it, but I have no experience with dyes. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Almost done with your Na Craga and it's looking good! Nice kitty, too. :)
